8x8 has identified an issue causing 8x8 Meetings to not record audio when the feature is enabled. When enabling this feature, an error appears, preventing the recording from starting. This impacts non-UK EMEA regions only at this time. 8x8 operations are responding and working to restore normal meeting recording availability.

Update

Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency. We will continue to provide updates as they become available. 

Resolved

8x8 has resolved the issue with Meeting recordings. When enabling a meeting recording the recording begins as normal. We are investigating the root cause and we apologize for the interruption.
